Program Management

Define User Needs and Life Cycle Path

Medivative’s Program Managers take an active role in collecting physical and performance requirements. Determining the intended use as well as user and patient requirements is paramount prior to design. Our Program Managers will help ensure that there are no incomplete, ambiguous or conflicting requirements. During this phase we will also address your business case drivers and help you balance technology, time to market and cost.

Activities in the definition stage include:

  • Research and Development
  • Technical Feasibility
  • Industrial Design
  • System Architecture
  • Human Factors
  • Risk Analysis
  • Design Review

Design – Specifications to Prototypes

While our Program Managers aren’t actually designing, they are monitoring the design progress and conducting design reviews at appropriate stages. They will also assist in ensuring that the design satisfies the design-input requirements and help develop design verification activities.

Activities in the design stage include:

  • Engineering
  • CAD Models and Drawings
  • Prototyping
  • Design Review
  • Preliminary Process Development
  • Risk Analysis
  • Design Verification
  • Design Validation

Deliver the Product

Before a product is released to production, it is imperative that the manufacturing processes have been well-planned. This not only reduces lead time but also ensures that high quality products consistently flow from the production floor to the shipping dock. Our Program Managers don’t just throw the design over the wall to manufacturing. They work closely with our Manufacturing Engineers to ensure that the design is correctly transferred into production. Our Program Managers also work closely with Customer Service to make sure our fulfillment and, if desired, distribution plans are ready to go.
